At Hoof It Goat Treks, we’re committed to creating meaningful outdoor experiences that connect people with the land. Through mindful stewardship, we walk in harmony with nature—honoring, protecting, and sustaining the landscapes we explore.

We believe the heart of conservation is rooted in education and connection. Through our treks at Hoof It, we invite people to slow down, explore, and reconnect with the land, gaining a deeper understanding of its ecological significance and the need to preserve it for future generations.

Our family has cared for this land for four generations, always managing it 100% organically.

We actively manage our prairie and woodland areas through annual prairie cuttings and the use of goats to control invasive plant species. This ongoing effort helps maintain a balanced ecosystem, supporting the growth and vitality of native species while controlling invasive plants.

Through these ongoing efforts, we continue to learn, adapt, and implement sustainable practices that strengthen the resilience and long-term health of our land.

…After all, the Earth can survive without us, but we cannot survive without the Earth.
